Rachel E Hill, MD, Board Certified Dermatologist, joined Daniel Island Dermatology in 2014 after completing her dermatology training at Emory University.

 

Dr. Hill grew up in Charleston, SC and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Duke University. She then returned to Charleston for medical school and graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2009. During medical school, she was inducted into the prestigious Gold Humanism Honor Society, which recognizes medical students for integrity, excellence, and compassion. She subsequently completed her internship in Internal Medicine at MUSC before moving to Atlanta for her dermatology training. She completed both a Dermatology Clinical Trials Research Fellowship and Dermatology Residency at Emory University. Additionally, she has completed multiple advanced training courses in cosmetic dermatology.

 

 Dr. Hill is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and active member of the South Carolina Academy of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery and the Charleston Dermatological Society. She has special interests in skin cancer prevention, medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and dermatologic surgery.

 

Outside of dermatology, Dr. Hill enjoys reading, travel, and spending time with her family.
