Emily “Amy” Murphy, PA-C is a board-certified dermatology physician assistant who joined Daniel Island Dermatology in April 2025, bringing more than a decade of experience in dermatology to the practice. She works closely with Dr. Rachel Hill to provide comprehensive, high-quality dermatologic care grounded in clinical excellence and a shared commitment to patient-centered medicine.

Amy earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia before completing her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. She has practiced as a physician assistant since 2012, with prior experience in urgent care and dermatology in Charleston, SC; Vero Beach, FL; and Greensboro, NC. Her diverse clinical background has equipped her with a strong foundation in diagnosing and managing a wide range of skin conditions.

Amy is a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and has extensive experience in general, pediatric, procedural, and cosmetic dermatology. She is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with her patients and developing individualized treatment plans that promote long-term skin health. She values collaboration within the practice and is proud to be part of a team committed to delivering exceptional care to the Charleston community.

A Daniel Island resident, Amy enjoys being actively involved in the local community. Outside of the office, she loves spending quality time with her family, traveling, and enjoying all that Charleston has to offer.
